MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE

Check for leakage and loose parts
Clean engine and check nuts and bolts
Check and refill engine lubricant
Check water inlet filter placement
Change engine lubricant (initial change)
Change engine lubricant
Check spark plug
Clean air filter
Replace air filter element
Clean and adjust spark plug and
electrodes
Replace spark plug
Clean spark arrester
Remove carbon from cylinder head**
Check and adjust valve clearance **
Clean and adjust carburetor **
Check fuel lines
Replace fuel lines
Check fuel tank cap
Replace fuel tank cap
** As for the procedures for these items, consult your nearest YAMAHA authorised service centre.
NOTES:
■ Initial lubricant change should be performed after first 20 hours of operation. Thereafter, change lubricant every 50 hours.
■ If the water inlet filter is missing or damaged, it must be replaced.
■ If you are not sure how to perform any of the maintenance items listed above, take the product to an authorised service centre to have the
maintenance item performed.
■ Maintenance should be performed more frequently when the product is used in dusty areas.
