Changing the country code
(DVD-Video discs only)
The set filter values depend on the respective country.
Therefore it is necessary to enter the country in which you
live.

Switch your TV set on. If necessary set the TV to the
correct audio/video channel. Such channels may be called
AUX or AUXILIARY IN, AUDIO/VIDEO or A/V IN, EXT1,
EXT2 or EXTERNAL IN, etc.These channels are often near
channel 00.
2 Press 2 to switch on the DVD recorder system.

Press SYSTEM MENU on the remote control.
The system menu bar appears.
Press 1 on the remote control as often as necessary until

A is selected.
Press 4 or 3 on the remote control as often as necessary

until w Features is selected.
Press 2 on the remote control to confirm the selection.

Press 2 on the remote control to confirm the selected line

Use the numerical keys on the remote control to enter the
4-digit code.

If you have forgotten your 4-digit code

Follow steps 1–7 as described above.

Press STOPÇ 4 times when prompted for the
4-digit code.
The old 4-digit code is deleted.

Enter a new 4-digit code twice.
