- Page 8 DATALOGIC UK/US USING OM-GRYPHON RADIO CRADLE The OM-GRYPHON cradle, paired with one Gryphon™ M series reader, builds a Cordless Reading System for the collection, decoding and transmission of barcoded data. It can be connected to a Host PC through an RS232, Wedge or Pen emulation cable and is suited for a single-cradle layout.

CAUTION You can connect the OM-GRYPHON cradle to the Host through the dedicated connector, using the cable corresponding to the desired interface type. CONNECTING DISCONNECTING OM-GRYPHON INTERFACE CABLE The OM-GRYPHON can be connected to a Host by means of an RS232, Wedge or Pen emulation cable which must be simply plugged into the Host connector, placed on the base of the cradle.

Serial Configuration By connecting the OM-GRYPHON to a PC through an RS232 interface cable it is possible to send configuration strings from the PC to OM-GRYPHON.
