Lock Handset

(Menu 9.4.1)
You can lock your mobile phone to prevent
it being used by other people. The following
4 lock functions are provided.
When Power On: Whenever the mobile
v
phone is turned on.
When SimCard changed: When the
v
mobile phone' s USIM card has been
changed.
Immediately: Locks the phone
v
immediately.
Off: Cancels lock function.

PIN Code Request

Menu 9.4
When this is set to On, you are requested
to enter your PIN each time you switch the
phone on.
Note
Press the C key in the PIN code entry
v
window to return to the previous step.
3 incorrect PIN code entries would
v
invalidate the PIN code. And you have
to enter the PUK (PIN Unblock Key)
code to configure the PIN code again.
The maximum number of times you
v
may enter the PUK code is 10. (Note:
If you enter an incorrect PUK code 10
times, the USIM card will be blocked
and must be replaced.)
If the PIN code request cannot be
v
disabled by operator settings, you will
not be able to choose this menu item.
