7.3 OPERATION

7.3.1 Loading (Filling the Seed Tender)

This Operation section provides a step-by-step
procedure for first loading seed into the seed
tender using the conveyor at the farm and then
unloading it in the field.
1. Before loading seed, make sure the two slide
gates are in the closed position.
2. Open the roll-up tarp.
3. The seed compartments can be loaded from
a storage box, storage bag, or other means
directly into the seed tender. If these loading
methods are not available, continue with this
procedure.
4. Remove the lock pin from the road transport or
field transport location. Store the pin in a safe
location.
5. Remove the protective cover from the seed
pan.
6. Remove the two retainer lock pins and store
them in a safe location.
7. Turn key switch (1) to the ON position.
