    NOTE: If you elect to mount your saw to a piece of plywood, make sure that the mounting screws don’t protrude from the bottom of the wood. The plywood must sit flush on the work support. When clamping the saw to any work surface, clamp only on the clamping bosses where the mounting screw holes are located.

  • Page 11: Miter Scale Adjustment

    (shown in Figure 8) and move the arm of the saw left or right until the blade is perpendicular to the fence, as measured with the square. Retighten the two screws.

  • Page 12: Cutting With Your Saw

    On rare occasions, the brake may not engage at all and the blade will coast to a stop. If a delay or “skipping” occurs, turn the saw on and off 4 or 5 times. If the condition persists, have the tool serviced by an authorized Black and Decker service center.
