PAIRING AND UNPAIRING A TELEPHONE
Bluetooth® connection
To activate the system Bluetooth® func-
tion, depending on the audio system
front panel, select Bluetooth by turn-
ing and pressing the 5 knob or select
Bluetooth by pressing the 14 buttons
and confirm with the 25 button, then
select "ON" or "Off".
Pairing a phone
To use your hands-free system, pair
your Bluetooth® phone with your audio
system. Check that your audio system
and your phone are on, that Bluetooth®
is activated on your phone and that its
status is set to "visible" (refer to the user
guide for your phone).
Pairing enables the audio system to
recognise and store a phone.
You can pair up to five phones, but only
one can be connected at a time to the
audio system.
Pairing can be performed from the
audio system and/or from your phone.

Pairing a Bluetooth® phone with the
audio system from the audio system
This method allows you to make a
Bluetooth® search from the audio
system.
To pair a phone using this method, per-
form the following steps:
– display the phone menu by pressing
the 10 button on the audio system
front panel or 16, 21, 23 or 26 on the
steering column control;
– depending on the audio system
front panel, select "Scan devices"
by turning and pressing the 5 knob
or press the 14 buttons and confirm
with the 25 button. Depending on the
steering column control, using the 20
or 23 knob.
The search for Bluetooth® devices in
the vicinity begins (this search can take
up to sixty seconds.) The message
"Searching..." appears on the audio
system display.
– depending on the audio system front
panel, select the phone that you
wish to pair by turning and press-
ing the 5 knob or press the 14 but-
tons and confirm with the 25 button.
Depending on the steering column
control, using the 20 or 23 knob.
– when the message "Connected"
is displayed on the audio system
screen, the Bluetooth® device is
stored automatically and connected
to the vehicle.
