playing a DVD or CD
1 Connect the DVD player to a
television and press the power
button to turn the DVD player on.
2 Press the open/Close button to
open the DIsC Drawer.
3 Load a DVD into the DIsC
Drawer, label side facing
up, and press the open/
Close button to close the DIsC
Drawer.
4 The loaded DVD will begin playing
automatically. If it does not, press
the play button.
programming a DVD or CD
1 Follow the instructions for "Playing
a DVD or CD".
2 Press the prog button on the
remote.
3 Press the DIreCtIon ()/
enter buttons to select a title,
then a chapter from that title, or to
select a track from a CD.
Titles and chapters or tracks will
be added in the order they are
selected.
Up to 20 chapters or tracks can be
programmed at one time.
4 Press the play button to play the
programmed DVD or CD.
5 To cancel the program, press the
stop button twice.

playing a photo CD
The DVD player is compatible with
JPEG Photo CDs only.
1 Load a Photo CD into the DIsC
Drawer.
2 A slide show of JPEG photos
from the CD will begin playing
automatically.
3 Press the stop button to access
a thumbnail view of all photos on
the loaded CD.
