When the message prompts you to remove the
media, press the eject button 1 , and then pull the
floppy disk from the drive 2 .
Note
To prevent losing valuable data or damaging the
floppy disk, never remove the floppy disk from the
slot until the message prompts you to remove it.

Using a CD-ROM or CD-R

When the unit is ready to read image data from a CD-
ROM, or write image data to a CD-R, a message
prompts you to insert the media, and then the CD-R
drive tray opens automatically.

While supporting the bottom of the tray with your
hand, center and set the disc on the tray and then
press down gently until you hear it click and lock
in place.

• Never touch the lens.
• Never apply force to the tray.
Gently push the tray into the unit until it locks in
place.
