    PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The LinkBridge™ HDBaseT Presentation Scaling Switch is a compact and robust switch that offers compact video and audio extension with the ability to scale 5 video inputs to 2 mirrored outputs. The Scaling Switch is capable of extending audio/video signals up to 70 meters over HDBaseT CAT 5e/6 cabling.

  • Page 12 DC POWER CONNECTION In order to make sure that you have a proper installation, please observe the following: Your AC jack has power. The 24VDC power supply is working. Your electrical system has proper grounding (this ensures that your power supply does not suffer from voltage variations).

    WEB GUI CONFIGURATION The WebGUI is divided up into multiple sections (Input, Lock, Information, Display, Picture, Audio, Miscellany, and Factory) allowing for all functions of the unit to be viewed and controlled directly. If desired, the numerical value for many of the items can be entered directly by typing it in the box above the slider bar.
  • Page 14 WEB GUI CONFIGURATION INPUT This section allows for control of input selection with a choice between HDMI1, HDMI2, DP, PC1, and PC2. Once a selection is made, the switch will occur immediately. LOCK This section provides a way to turn the front panel lock on and off. INFORMATION This section provides details about the current input and output signals, as well as the firmware version of the unit.
  • Page 15 WEB GUI CONFIGURATION DISPLAY This section allows for control of the output resolution, size (aspect ratio), and HDCP behavior for all 3 digital inputs on the unit. There are also controls for the signal type expected by each PC input. Enabling "Comp In" for a PC input allows YUV (component video) signals to be used.
  • Page 16 WEB GUI CONFIGURATION PICTURE This section provides detailed controls for the output's RGB levels, contrast, and brightness for all input types. Additional controls for hue, saturation, sharpness and noise reduction are provided for digital input signals while H/V position, Phase, Clock and WXGA support is provided for the PC inputs.
  • Page 17 WEB GUI CONFIGURATION AUDIO This section provides controls for the Mic audio mixer as well as embedded audio. The microphone input volume, audio delay and output volume can be directly controlled. The preferred embedded audio source for each digital input may also be selected, and the input volume for each audio source can be set independently.

The EDID from one of the 2 outputs can be copied and used with any of the unit's digital inputs. The IP Address, Netmask and Gateway can be set manually, or DHCP can be enabled for automatic IP configuration if the local network supports it. Click on “Display Current Setting” to display the current IP configuration.

  • Page 27 OSD MENU All functions of this unit can be controlled by using the OSD (On Screen Display) which is activated by pressing the MENU button on the front of the unit. Use the + (Plus), − (Minus), ENTER, and MENU buttons to navigate the OSD menu. Press the “MENU” button to back out from any menu item and then press it again to close the menu.

  • Page 33 OSD MENU 5. EDID Setup: Select the EDID to use with the HDMI1/HDMI2/DP input. Selecting “Output” will copy and use the current sink’s EDID but will not re-copy the EDID if the sink is changed. Selecting “Auto Output” will automatically copy and use the EDID from the current sink every time a new sink is connected.

In- sert a USB thumb drive, with a valid firmware file (*.bin format) in the root directory, into the unit’s USB service port then select this option.

    MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLESHOOTING 3.1 Maintenance There is no operator maintenance other then keeping the units clean. However, observe the following light indicators to make sure that the unit is working properly: 3.2 Troubleshooting If the LBC-PSW52 units do not operate properly after installation, check for possible cable breaks, loose connections, and incorrect cable connections.

    LIMITED WARRANTY 6.0 LIMITED WARRANTY Broadata Communications, Inc. (BCI) warrants, for a period of one year from date of ship- ment, each product sold shall be free from defects in material and workmanship. BCI will correct, either by repair, or at BCI’s election, by replacement, any said products that in our sole discretion prove to be defective and are returned to the manufacturing location within 30 days after such defect is ascertained.
