Axillary Use: Wipe armpit with a dry towel. Place the probe in the
patient's arm (Figure 4) and keep the patient's arm pressed firmly
against the body. The time required for an accurate underarm
temperature may be 12 seconds or longer depending on placement
of the probe and closure of the arm against the body.
Switching Temperature Modes
From the off position, press and hold the multifunction button until
the display appears with flashing scale (F ° / C °) (Figure 5). Press
it again to switch between ° F or ° C. Power off automatically after
switch is complete.

Special Features

Last-Temperature Memory Recall: Press the multifunction button to
activate the thermometer. The last reading will display with either a green
backlight (temperature lower than 99.5 ° F / 37.5 ° C) or red backlight
(temperature higher than 99.5 ° F / 37.5 ° C) for 1 second.

Battery Replacement::

1. When the symbol "
display, the battery needs to be replaced.
2. Turn battery cover to unlock position and remove.
3. Remove old battery and replace 3V battery (CR2032) battery
inside with the positive (+) side facing up.
4. Replace the battery cover on the thermometer and turn to lock position.
Cleaning and Disinfecting
Do not use corrosive detergent to clean the unit.
Clean and disinfect the thermometer before and after each use.
• Use of probe covers is recommended to help avoid spreading germs, and to keep the
thermometer clean. The thermometer should be cleaned after use even when the probe
covers are used.
• Wipe probe with a clean cloth dipped in a disinfectant solution such as 70-75%
isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol solution or soap and water.
• Wipe off disinfectant residue.
Care and Storage
• Do NOT drop or crush, as this may damage the thermometer.
• Do NOT dismantle or modify device other than replacing battery.
• Do NOT store the device in an extreme environment with direct sunlight or
high / low temperatures, or in a location with high humidity or severe dust.
• Store the unit in the protective case while not in use.
