TAKING PICTURES–Set options on pages 34-40 before taking pictures.

Press and hold the Power button for one
second, then release or just open the
viewfinder to turn the unit on. The Power
indicator will light red briefly and then light
green. The unit will automatically enter the
Record mode.

Rotate the Macro ( / ) switch to the Up
( ) position when taking pictures of
subjects that are very close. Rotate to the
Down ( ) position when taking normal
pictures. When taking video/pictures, push
the Navigation/Zoom/OK control up to
zoom in or down to zoom out, to a
maximum of 8x.

If not already in the Record mode, press the
Record-Play Mode/Return button repeatedly
to enter the Record mode.

When ready, press and release the Shutter
button to take a picture. Hold the camera still
until the Picture Number decreases by one
(this could take a second or two).
NOTES:
• The Picture Number may decrease by
one or by more than one depending on
the amount of memory the picture takes.
