    Set enable/disable using menu No. 17 (“RMT”). R_L (Remote + Local): Operation is possible on both the RC-601MKII and the CD-601MKII. R (Remote): Operation is possible on only the RC-601MKII. Operation of the CD-601MKII by keys other than the OPEN/CLOSE and DISP MODE key is disabled.

    (→ page 7 “Display window”) MONITOR SELECT knob Selects the headphone monitor source from four lines of stereo signals that are input from the MONITOR IN terminal on the rear panel of the RC-601MKII. LEVEL knob Adjusts the headphone output level. PHONES terminal This is the standard phone jack for connecting stereo headphones.

    These keys are used for specifying track numbers, specifying index numbers, entering times, and entering numerical values when registering cue points. Rear Panel TASCAM RC-601MKII CLR key When this key is pressed while displaying cue points or memo points by using the CHECK key, the currently displayed point is cleared.

    OTHER FUNCTIONS & SETTINGS Headphone Monitor Functions On the RC-601MKII, you can input stereo audio output signals (max. 4 systems) from external equipment, and monitor these signals using the headphone connected to the PHONES terminal. Connecting Audio Signals Stereo audio signals of up to four systems can be input to the MONITOR IN terminal on the rear panel.
