TROUBLE SHOOTING

Use the troubleshoot guide below if you are experiencing an issue with the camera. If you cannot find a

During operation
Problem
The camera cannot be
turned on.
The battery runs out
too fast.
The camera turns off
during operation.
The battery charge does
not start.
It takes long to charge
the battery.
During the battery
charge, the Self timer
lamp flashes, or an error
message appears on the
LCD monitor, indicating
that the battery cannot
be charged.
An unintended
language appears on
the monitor.
No picture is taken
when the shutter
button is pressed.
Possible Causes
● The battery power is low.
● You are using the camera in a very
cold place.
● The battery is running out.
● The USB AC adapter plug is not
connected to the indoor power
outlet correctly.
● You are charging the battery in a
very cold place.
●It is too warm or too cold.
● The 言語/LANG. setting on the
setup menu is not correct.
① The camera is not turned on.
② The battery is running out.
③ The camera's memory or memory
card is full.
④ The memory card is not formatted.
5 The memory card contact (gold
part) is dirty.
6 The memory card is damaged.
Solution
● Charge the camera fully.
● Warm the camera before you use it.
● Charge the camera fully.
● Plug in the AC power adapter to the indoor power
outlet correctly.
● It may take long to charge the battery when it is
cold.
● Charge the battery at temperatures between
+5 °C and +40 °C. If this does not solve the
problem, contact a FUJIFILM authorized
distributor.
● Select your language on the menu.
① Turn the camera on.
② Charge the camera fully.
③ Insert a new memory card or delete images.
④ Use a memory card formatted with this camera.
5 Clean the memory card contact with a dry and
soft cloth.
6 Insert a new memory card.
