BMC's IPMI over LAN interface for limited network discovery and health
monitoring. Its event console can also receive and act upon SNMP Platform
Event Traps (PETs) that are generated by the BMC.

VMware ESXi comes pre-installed on Dell PowerEdge servers.
There is no need to utilize the System Build and Update Utility
(SBUU) to install ESXi. Note that the SBUU does not create or
install Virtual Machine (VM) images.
The Dell Deployment Toolkit (DTK) and SBUU may be used to
configure the BIOS, storage, and DRAC prior to booting into
ESXi. The server can also be configured at boot time by pressing
<F2> to enter BIOS setup, <Ctrl><M> to configure the RAID
controller, and <Ctrl><E> to configure the BMC/DRAC
features.
