Storage management
Use flexible volume management
The NAS has flexible volume management to better manage your storage capacity. The
storage pool combines drives in a larger storage space. The storage pool supports multiple
RAID groups (RAID: redundant array of independent backup disks). This system provides
'redundant' or duplicated data backup and reduces the risk of data loss. With thin provisioning,
storage space can be used more efficiently. Users can dynamically add or expand capacity
as required, in order to use the storage for the intended applications.
