Bottom Hinge Bushing
The center hinge pin inserts into the bottom
bushing. If worn, the bushing can be replaced.
Bottom Hinge Bushing Removal
• Follow the Door Stop Removal steps, under
Door Stop in the next section.
Door Stop
The door stop prevents the door from opening
too far. When the door is fully opened the stop
makes contact with the outside of the center
hinge, preventing the door handle from coming
in contact with the cabinetry. Should the door be
travelling past the stop position, check for a bent
or broken door stop, or a center hinge pin that
has been raised too high.
Door Stop Removal
1. For the side needing to be removed, follow
Top Left Door Hinge Removal steps, under
Top Door Hinges in the Cabinet Top section
of this service guide.
2. Lift the door off the center hinge.
