When a device is connected, press
AUX to begin playing audio from
the device over the vehicle speakers.
To optimize speaker volume, use
the highest volume setting on the
portable audio player.
Auxiliary Device Input Jack
Your vehicle is equipped with an
audio input jack located in the lower
right corner of the radio faceplate.
A portable audio player such as an
MP3 player, iPod, PDA, laptop
computer (with microphone
output), or a cassette player can be
connected to the sound system to
play over the radio and speakers.
When a device is connected, press
AUX to begin playing audio from
the device over the vehicle speakers.
To optimize speaker volume, use
the highest volume setting on the
portable audio player.
Radio Data System (RDS)
When you are tuned to an RDS
station, the station name will appear
on the display instead of the
frequency.
Most RDS stations provide their
station name, the time and a
program type for the current
programming.
Stations may also provide the name
of the program being broadcast.
RDS features are only available for
use on FM stations which broadcast
RDS information.
The radio's RDS features rely upon
receiving specific information from
the RDS stations. These features will
only work when RDS information is
available.
Setting the Time and Date (Audio
System with CD Changer)
1. Turn the audio system on.
2. Press the MENU button until
the time and date setting
menus appear.
ENTERTAINMENT
3. Press the push-button located
under the clock option label.
HR , MIN , MM , DD and YYYY
(hour, minute, month, day and
year) will appear on the display
above the push-buttons.
4. Press the push-button under the
desired setting.
To change the time or date do
one of the following:
- Press the push-button again to
increase the time or date by
one.
- Press the SEEK right arrow or
FWD button to increase the
time or date.
- Press the SEEK left arrow or
REV button to decrease the
time or date.
- Rotate the
knob to adjust
the time or date.
5. Press the MENU button again
to apply the newly set time and
date.
