Before washing the top, use a soft brush
or a vacuum cleaner to remove as much
dirt as possible from the surface. This
is recommended as it considerably im-
proves the final result.
When washing, which should be done
in the shade if possible, use water and
neutral soap to be applied using a
sponge. After removing all spots, rinse
the top with clean water (not a pres-
surised water jet).
To avoid the formation of
spots and rings, never
leave the soap deposited
on the top but rinse immediate-
ly and repeat the operation if
necessary.
When washing is complete, let the car
dry in the shade away from direct sun-
light.

Top waterproofing
Only use the waterproofing product rec-
ommended by Fiat Auto.
For an optimal result, it is
important that the im-
pregnating product is
used according to the instructions
on its packaging.
The top's rubber strip-
ping must only
washed with water. If it
appears dry or semi-glued apply
talcum powder or use rubber
care products (silicone sprays).
It is recommended to not keep the top
down in its compartment if it is very dirty
to avoid the formation of mould or oth-
er damage.
Do not keep the top folded for long pe-
riods of time to avoid folds and other de-
fects to the fabric.
Before opening/closing the top make
sure to have space enough to perform
operations easily, check also for absence
of obstacles or people in the moving
range of the top.
