Windows Blue Screens

A blue screen will appear if Windows crashes.
Possible solutions for repetitive blue screens:

Install the latest updates of Windows.

Install the latest device drivers.

If changes to the system were made: Undo recent hardware changes, undo recent driver up-
dates and then roll back system to latest working state.

Correct Display Functionality when Nothing is Displayed

When it seems the display is not functional, check the ERR LED.
• If the ERR LED is OFF
• Check if the power supply is present.
• Check if the brightness setting is not too low.

Refer to NY-series Operating Systems and Software Utilities Manual (Cat. No. W616) for Industri-
al Monitor Utility details.
• If the ERR LED is blinking check if the IPC is not in standby mode.
• If the ERR LED is ON
• Check if the power supply voltage is inside specifications.
• Check if the ambient temperature is inside specifications.
• Check if the Fan Unit has no warning messages.
Refer to the ERR Led for message details.
• Check if a watchdog error occurred.
The watchdog is disabled by default and can only be enabled by software using the Industrial PC
System API.
