Items to check
Could the auto-off setting be
something other than "Off"?
Is the AC adaptor connected correctly?
Could the batteries be exhausted?
If you connect the AC adaptor and turn on the power when batteries are installed, the AC
adaptor will be used preferentially. Even if batteries are installed, the power will not turn on
unless the AC adaptor is connected to an AC outlet.
If you're using batteries, disconnect the AC adaptor from this unit. If batteries are installed,
connecting or disconnecting the power cord from the outlet or connecting or disconnecting
the DC plug of the AC adaptor while this unit is turned on will cause the power to turn off.
Could the screen off function be set?

lit light blue?
Could you be in a noisy location?

electromagnetic interference?
Is the wake word (request) correct?
Are you including "ask GO:PIANO" in
your request?
Are you signed in to your Amazon
account and your Roland account?
Have you enabled the skill?

turn the Auto Off setting "Off. "
Install fresh batteries.
If you want the display to remain on, disable (turn off )
the screen off function.

The unit is not connected to a wireless network.
Turn the power off and on again, and make wireless
network settings.
If the unit is operating on batteries, it cannot use a
wireless network. Connect the AC adaptor, and turn
the power off and on again.
Immediately after this unit is powered-on, it will be in
the process of connecting to the network, so Amazon
Alexa will not respond. Wait until the Amazon Alexa
indicator is unlit.
Try getting closer to the mic when you speak, or try in
a less noisy location.
Move your wireless LAN router closer to this unit, or
remove the source of electromagnetic interference.
"Alexa," "Amazon," and "Computer" are recognized
as wake words. In the GO:PIANO Alexa Setup app,
change the wake word to an appropriate choice.
When you include "ask GO:PIANO" in your request,
Amazon Alexa operates GO:PIANO.
