1. Push OPC lever forward and raise or
lower handlebar to desired position.
2. Release OPC lever and move handlebar
up or down slightly until it locks in desired
position. Ensure handlebar is locked in
position before operating.

IMPORTANT: All references to left, right, front
or rear are given from the perspective of
operator in operator's position, facing the
direction of forward travel.
EMERGENCY STOPPING
1. Release the operator presence control
(OPC) lever.
2. Models 911175, 911179:Release the
wheel drive control lever.
3. Wait for moving parts to stop before
leaving operator's position.
START THE ENGINE
Electric Start
Model 911179
NOTICE: DO NOT start engine when charger
is connected to battery.
1. Pull operator presence control (OPC)
lever against handlebar and hold position.
2. Turn engine key to start position and
release when engine starts.
NOTICE: DO NOT operate starter
continuously for more than 15 seconds or
damage may occur.
IMPORTANT: If engine does not crank,
battery may be discharged. Start unit with the
recoil starter handle. See Manual Start on
page 15.
Manual Start
1. Pull operator presence control (OPC)
lever against handlebar and hold position.
2. Pull recoil starter handle.
a. Grasp handle and pull rope out slowly
until it pulls harder.
b. Pull handle firmly and quickly with a
rapid, continuous full-arm stroke.
c. Repeat until engine starts. If engine
does not start, see Troubleshooting
on page 24.
