3. To detect the installed adapter in the system or logical partition that is running the AIX operating
system, run the following command:
cfgmgr
Note: The following message is displayed if you are installing the IBM Flash Adapter 90 (PCIe2
0.9TB) for the first time in the system or logical partition.
The following screen is displayed indicating that the adapter is installed and detected in the VM.

4. If the IBM Flash Adapter 90 (PCIe2 0.9TB) is already listed as available, no further installation steps

5. Verify if whether the Flash adapter is available by running the following command:

hdisk1 Available 07-00-01 IBM Flash Adapter Disk

lspci | grep IBM
The following screen is displayed indicating that the adapter is installed and detected in the VM.
