PROBLEM
The fuel tank is empty

The fuel is old (over 30 days) and/or improperly mixed

The spark plug is fouled
SOLUTION
Fill the fuel tank with properly-mixed fuel
Move the cruise control to the HI (fast} position and pull the starter
rope until the engine starts
Replace the spark plug
Clean or replace the air filter
Adjust the idle speed
Drain the fuel tank and add fresh, properly-mixed fuel
Drain the fuel tank and add fresh, properly-mixed fuel
Replace the spark plug
if further assistance is required, take the unit to a Sears or other qualified service dealer.
