    Remove the four screws that secure the power supply to the chassis (1). b. Slide the power supply toward the front of the computer, and then lift it out of the computer. HP uses three different power supply vendors. See the instructions below to disassemble and remove required power supply components: POWER SUPPLY 1: a.
  • Page 3 g. Cut 11 capacitors from the PCA, as shown in Figure 14. POWER SUPPLY 3: a. Using dikes, cut the two plastic cable clamps that secures the cables to the power supply cover (see Figure 15). b. Using a phillips screwdriver, remove the six screws from the bottom that secure the cover to the power supply chassis (see Figure 15).
