What is RDS ?
The Radio Data System (RDS) is a digital
information system developed for radio by the
European Broadcasting Union (EBU), and was
introduced in 1987. Using the 57 kHz sub-carrier
ICF-M33RDS for FM broadcasting, RDS enables you to receive
a variety of information, such as station names
and traffic information.
