1. Turning the Power On and Off
Procedures for Turning the Power On
Follow the sequence below to turn on the Film Scanner and other devices.
Move the power switch of the Film Scanner to the On position.
The power switch of the Film Scanner is located on the lower right front panel. Push the switch in the
direction of ( | ) symbol to turn on the power.
• The power indicator will light and the scanning unit will return to the home position.
Turn on the power of all the other devices attached to the computer.
If the power switch of your computer display is independent of the computer power switch, turn on the
display power switch at this time too.
Turn on the power switch of your computer last.

CAUTION:
• Turn on all of the SCSI devices attached to your computer even if you do not intend to use them at this
time.
