Entering Text

You can enter alphanumeric characters by using the phone's keypad. To change modes,
press the
key.

T9 Mode

This mode allows you to enter words with only one keystroke per letter. Each key on the
keypad has more than one letter. The T9 mode automatically compares your keystrokes
with an internal linguistic dictionary to determine the correct word, thus requiring far
fewer keystrokes than the traditional ABC mode.
When you want to use T9 Mode, check that T9Abc is shown at the top of right side of
the display. To write the desired word, press each key once for one letter. For example,
to write "Call the office", follow these steps:
1. Press: [#] to select the entry mode T9Abc
2. Press: [2] [2] [5] [5].
3. Press: [0] to complete the word and add a space.
4. Press: [8] [4] [3] [0] [6] [3] [3] [4] [2] [3]
5. Display: "Call the office".
As you can see, the word changes after each key press. Therefore you don't need to
pay much attention to what happens on the display before you have keyed in the whole
word.
