4.3 Reset Generation (SW3)

The onboard Supervisor IC (U2) for the voltage level monitoring generates a reset if the
voltage supply of 5V falls under 4.75V and 3.3V falls under 3.14V. Additionally, it is possible
to generate a reset via push button SW3.
SW3
By pushing this button a reset is generated.
Pushed momentarily  Soft Reset (Reset asserted for 100us only: Reset LED,
-
LD8, does NOT turn on.)
Pushed for longer than 2 seconds  Hard Reset (Reset asserted for 200ms:
-
Reset LED, LD8, turns on until button is released.)
Note:
-
During normal operation, Reset LED, LD8, should be off.
-
If the Reset LED is steadily on or blinks periodically, check the power supply
input voltage.

4.4 NTSC Decoder (JP1)

The Graphics Display Controller (GDC) of the device has a internal NTSC decoder. The
decoder has its own dedicated Analog-to-Digital converter whose low side reference voltage
can be set through JP1.
Provides NTSC decoder's A/D with AVSS3V3 as low voltage reference; external
JP1
reference voltage can be connected.

4.5 Rotary Encoder RE1 (JP4, JP6)

The on-board Rotary Encoder (RE1) has the following jumpers:
Connect/Disconnect Channel B output of Rotary Encoder from MCU's ICU0 (pin
JP4
110).
Connect/Disconnect Channel A output of Rotary Encoder from MCU's ICU5_2 (pin
JP6
109).
