Introducing the TV
Jack Description
1 HDMI 6 IN
HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) provides an uncompressed, all-digital
HDMI/ audio/video interface between this TV and any HDMI-equipped audio/video component, such

as a set-top box, DVD player, and A/V receiver. HDMI supports enhanced, or high-definition
video, plus two-channel digital audio.
The AUDIO IN (L/R) of HDMI IN is for DVI connection. For details, see page 27.
2 VIDEO 1 IN
Connects to the S VIDEO output jack of your VCR or other video equipment that has
S VIDEO S VIDEO. S VIDEO provides better picture quality than the composite video (3) connection.
3 VIDEO 1/3 IN
Connect to the composite video and audio output jacks on your VCR or other video
VIDEO/ component. A third composite video and audio (VIDEO/HD/DVD 2 IN) is located on the left
L (MONO)-
side panel of the TV.
AUDIO-R
4 HD/DVD 4/5 IN
Connect to your DVD player's or digital set-top box's component video (YP
