Recording for long times
Select each recording mode according to the recording time that you
want.
Stereo recording is possible at 2 times (LP2) or 4 times (LP4) the
normal recording time.
MDs recorded in monaural, LP2, or LP4 mode can be played back
only on MD players or recorders with a monaural, LP2, or LP4
playback mode.
Audio components that support the LP2 or LP4 modes are indicated
by the

Press REC MODE repeatedly to select the desired recording
mode.
Each time you press REC MODE, the display changes as
follows.

For better sound quality, record in normal stereo or LP2 mode.
