* Never switch off the power or detach the plug of the AC adaptor while the update
is in progress.
When 10 buttons all light up and ok is displayed on the 7-segment LED
display, the update has finished.

Test Mode

Items Required
• Computer
• USB Cable (Type A <-> type B)
• AC adaptor (PSA-series device)
• Oscillator

• Expression pedal (EV-5 or EV-30)
* Adjust the minimum volume knob to 0.

Entering the Test Mode
1.
Using the current-consumption measurement tool, connect the AC
adaptor and the tester to the DC IN jack.
* When 3. Measurement of Current Consumption (p. 16) is not executed,
connect the AC adaptor only.

Set the STEREO/MONO switch on the rear panel to STEREO.
4.
Set the GND switch to NOR.
5.
Set the INPUT SENS knobs (two) to MIN.
6.
Set all knobs on the top panel to minimum.
7.
Hold down LOW CUT, FREQ and ON/OFF in the EQ section and turn on
the power.
8.
When dU (dV) appears on the 7-segment LED display, release your
finger.
MEMORY flashes. Also 1 appears on the 7-segment LED display and
flashes.

With the 7-segment LED display flashing, press
test item and press MEMORY, then the test item which number is flashing
can be executed.
While execution of the test item is in progress, when EXIT is held down
and MEMORY is pressed, the 7-segment LED display begins flashing as
above.

3. DSP IRAM (DT Memory)
4. DSP IRAM (PRAM)
5. DSP internal ERAM
6. DSP external ERAM (+ Dual Port Memory)

If there is no problem, ok appears on the 7-segment LED display.
Hold down EXIT and press MEMORY, and then follow the procedure of
Executing or Skipping Test Items (p. 15) to advance to the next test
item.
