Adjusting the exposure for the subject

function to record a small subject, such as a flower or insect, at close range.
Notes
• After finishing recording in macro, return the MACRO switch to OFF. If you leave the MACRO
switch set to ON, the camera may not be able to focus on distant subjects or the image may
become dark when you use the flash.
• When recording images in macro, use the LCD screen. If you record using the finder, the range
visible in the finder may differ from the actual recording range.
