the device. Users must open the side door before opening the front door,
behind which the drum and toner cartridge can be inserted. Users must turn
the locking lever to the right until it clicks, remove the drum cartridge from
its packaging and remove the protective tape and insert the drum cartridge
in the front of the device. Next, the user should remove the toner cartridge
from its packaging, shake it from side to side five or six times and insert it.
Users must then turn the locking lever to the left until it clicks.
 The Samsung SCX-6345N is bundled with two CDs. The drivers CD auto-
launches and the automated driver installation process makes setup on the
network very easy; the port for the SCX-6345N is automatically created
when installing the drivers. In addition, the drivers automatically detect
installed accessories, further simplifying setup.
 The typical installation, which installs the TWAIN/WIA-compliant scan driver,
the PCL 6 and PostScript 3 drivers and Smart Panel, Network Scan and Sync-
Thru utilities, takes only four clicks of the mouse.
 Configuration of network settings can be easily performed from the control
panel or remotely via the SyncThru Web Admin Service, SyncThru Web Ser-
vice or SetIP software.
 The Samsung SCX-6345N MFP ships with two drivers, PCL 6 and PostScript 3,
that are compatible with Windows 98, 2000, NT 4.0, Me, XP, 2003 Server, as
well as Linux, UNIX and Mac OS 10.3 -10.4 environments. The drivers tested
on the Windows XP platform were well laid out and easy to use.
 The PCL 6 driver is very graphical and has most of the selections necessary
for a typical print job on the main tab of the driver. The Adobe PostScript
driver is typical of PostScript drivers in that users must access additional
tabs to make common print job selections.
