    Media type Guidelines Transparencies • To avoid damaging the machine, use only transparencies designed for use in laser printers. • Transparencies used in the machine must be able to withstand 180 °C, the machine’s fusing temperature. • Place them on a flat surface after removing them from the machine.

    Turn the cartridge locking lever toward the right until you hear a 'click', to release the toner cartridge. Lift the locking lever and pull the toner cartridge out. Remove the new toner cartridge from its bag. Thoroughly roll the cartridge five or six times to distribute the toner evenly inside the cartridge.

    Roller misfeed Open the scanner lid. Grasp the misfed paper, and remove the paper from the feed area by carefully pulling it to the right using both hands. Close the scanner lid. Then load the removed pages back into the DADF.
