Setting the Use of Peripheral Unit 1

This entry sets the usage of the peripheral selected by the Peripheral Unit Type setting in
section 3.1.7, "Setting the Peripheral Device Type."
Available settings are as follows.

Setting the operational timing for Peripheral Unit 1
Note
You can make settings for two peripherals (although there is only one
connection site). The Peripheral Unit 1 setting, described here, sets the
operation for the first peripheral. The setting for Peripheral Unit 2 (see
the next section) sets the operation for the second.

Default Meaning
x Peripheral Unit 1 is not used.
Peripheral Unit 1 operates at the top of the document.
Peripheral Unit 1 operates at the top of each page.
Peripheral Unit 1 operates at the bottom of each page.
Peripheral Unit 1 operates at the end of the document.
