Remedy
• The menu items displayed are different depending on the
operation modes (stop mode, playback mode, recording mode,
and FM radio reception mode) (page 72).
• The battery life on page 103 is based on playback with the volume
level set to 15. The battery life may shorten depending on the
operation of the IC recorder.
• Even if you do not use the IC recorder, the battery is consumed
slightly. The battery life in this case varies depending on humidity
or other environmental conditions. If you do not intend to use the
IC recorder for an extended period of time, it is recommended that
you turn the power off (page 12) or remove the battery. Moreover,
if you set "Auto Power Off" to a short span in the menu (page 81),
you can prevent the battery from being consumed due to
forgetting to turn the IC recorder off.
• Once the battery is full charged, it is not recharged automatically,
even if you leave the IC recorder connected to the USB AC
adaptor. You can use the IC recorder while it is connected to the
USB AC adaptor, but charge it again after disconnecting it.
• You are not using a rechargeable battery or are using a battery
other than a rechargeable battery (alkaline battery, manganese
battery, etc.)
• Rechargeable battery has been inserted with incorrect polarity.
• "USB Charge" of "Detail Menu" is set to "OFF" in the menu. To
charge the battery using your computer, set it to "ON."
• When playing back messages using the built-in speaker, or when
listening to the FM radio, you cannot charge the battery.
