Key Functions
FRONT VIEW
1. Power/Lock Key: Press and hold to turn the phone on or off. Press to lock
the phone, or to wake the screen for unlocking.
2. Headset Jack: Plug in an optional headset or TTY equipment.
3. Front Camera Lens: Used when taking self-photos or recording videos.
4. Homescreen: The starting point for using your phone. Place icons, widgets
and other items to customize your phone to your needs.
5. Menu Key: Displays options available.
6. Recent Apps: Displays recent applications that you used.
7. Microphone: Allows callers to hear your voice and when recording.
8. Home Key: Moves to the main Home Screen.
9. Back Key: Ends an application; returns to the previous menu.
10. Micro USB/Charger Port: Connects the phone to a PC via a USB cable;
charges phone via the USB charger.
11. Volume Keys: Adjusts all sound volumes.
REAR VIEW
1. Back Cover: Covers the battery.
2. Speaker: Plays ringtones, call audio when in Speakerphone mode, music
and other sounds.
3. Rear Camera Lens: Takes pictures and records video.
4. Internal Antenna Area For Voice

Getting Started

The Battery

Installing the battery

1. Insert your finger tip into slot at the bottom of the phone and gently lift back
cover to remove.
2. Slide the battery into the slot by aligning the contacts and press down until
you hear the "click".
3. Align the cover tabs with the slots on the back of the device and gently press
the battery cover onto the phone until it snaps into place.

Removing the battery

1. Turn off your phone and remove the back cover.
2. Insert your fingernail into the slot and lift the battery from the compartment.
