Changing the lithium
battery in the camcorder
Your camcorder is supplied with a lithium
battery installed. When the battery becomes
I
weak or dead, the indicator flashes in the
viewfinder or on the LCD screen for about 5
seconds when you set the POWER switch to
CAMERA. In this case, replace the battery
with a Sony CR2025 or Duracell DL-2025
lithium battery. Use of any other battery may
present a risk of fire or explosion. Discard
used batteries according to the manufacturer's
instructions.
The lithium battery for the camcorder lasts for
about one year under normal operation. (The
lithium battery that comes installed at the
factory may not last one year.)
Notes on lithium battery
• Keep the lithium battery out of the reach of
children. Should the battery be swallowed,
immediately consult a doctor.
•Wipe the battery with a dry cloth to assure a
good contact.
•Do not hold the battery with metallic tweezers,
otherwise a short-circuit may occur.
•The lithium battery has positive (+) side and
negative (–) side as illustrated. Be sure to
insert the lithium battery with the positive
side facing out.
WARNING
The battery may explode if mistreated. Do not
recharge, disassemble, or dispose of in fire.
Reemplazo de la pila de
litio de la videocámara
Su videocámara se suministra con una pila de
litio instalada. Cuando la pila se debilite o
agote, en el visor o en la pantalla de cristal
líquido parpadeará el indicador
5 segundos cuando ponga el selector POWER en
CAMERA. En este caso, reemplace la pila por
otra de litio CR2025 Sony o DL-2025 Duracell.
El empleo de otra pila de distinto tipo puede
suponer un riesgo de incendio o explosión.
Deseche la pilas gastadas de acuerdo con las
instrucciones del fabricante de las mismas.
La pila de litio para la videocámara durará
aproximadamente 1 año en condiciones
normales de funcionamiento. (La pila de litio
instalada en fábrica en la videocámara puede
que no dure 1 año.)

Notas sobre la pila de litio
•Mantenga la pila de litio fuera del alcance de
los niños. En caso de que se ingiera la pila,
consulte inmediatamente a su médico.
•Para garantizar un buen contacto de la pila,
límpiela con un trapo seco.
•No sujete la pila con utensilios metálicos, ya
que podría producirse un cortocircuito.
•La pila de litio dispone de un terminal positivo
(+) y otro negativo (–), según se ilustra.
Cerciórese de insertar la pila con el terminal
positivo hacia afuera.

ADVERTENCIA
Si utiliza incorrectamente la pila, puede
explotar. No recargue, desarme, ni tire la pila al
fuego.
