Symptom
Cannot operate functions using the
"Memory Stick."
Cannot record on the "Memory
Stick."
The pictures are not played back in

Cannot delete all pictures at once.
Image protection cannot be applied.

The data file name is not indicated

Cause and/or Corrective Actions
cSet the POWER switch to the CAMERA-MEMORY or PLAY/EDIT
mode. (p. 19)
c Insert a "Memory Stick" into your camcorder. (p. 23)
• The "Memory Stick" was formatted on a personal computer.
cFormat it on your camcorder (Note that all recorded data will be

cRelease the lock on the write-protect tab of the "Memory Stick." (p. 138)
