Viewing images on your
computer – Introduction
When connecting to a computer,
complete installation of the i.LINK driver,
the USB driver or the application
softwares before connecting your
camcorder to the computer. If you
connect your camcorder to your computer
first, you will not be able to install the
i.LINK driver or the USB driver correctly.
For details about your computer's connectors
and editing software, contact the computer
manufacturer.
Notes on using your computer
"Memory Stick"
•"Memory Stick" operations on your camcorder
cannot be assured if a "Memory Stick"
formatted on your computer is used on your
camcorder, or if the "Memory Stick" in your
camcorder was formatted from your computer
when the USB cable was connected.
•Do not compress the data on the "Memory
Stick." Compressed files cannot be played back
on your camcorder.
Software
•Depending on your application software, the
file size may increase when you open a still
image file.
•When you load an image modified using
retouching software from your computer to
your camcorder or when you directly modify
the image on your camcorder, the image format
will differ so a file error indicator may appear
and you may be unable to open the file.
Communications with your computer
Communications between your camcorder and
your computer may not recover after recovering
from Suspend, Resume, or Sleep.

Alvorens u de camcorder aansluit op uw
personal computer, zult u eerst een i.LINK
stuurprogramma, een USB
stuurprogramma of een
toepassingsprogramma moeten
installeren op uw PC. Als u de camcorder
zonder die voorbereiding aansluit op uw
computer, zult u het i.LINK
stuurprogramma of het USB
stuurprogramma niet kunnen installeren.
Voor nadere bijzonderheden over de
aansluitmogelijkheden van uw computer en over
een beeldverwerkingsprogramma kunt u de
leverancier of fabrikant van uw computer
raadplegen.
Opmerkingen over het gebruik
van uw computer
"Memory Stick" bediening
•Voor de juiste werking van de "Memory Stick"
in uw camcorder kan niet worden ingestaan als
de "Memory Stick" geformatteerd is met een
personal computer of als de "Memory Stick" in
uw camcorder is geformatteerd vanaf uw
computer terwijl die was aangesloten met de
USB-kabel.
•Probeer niet om de gegevens op een "Memory
Stick" te comprimeren. Gecomprimeerde
bestanden kunnen niet worden weergegeven
met uw camcorder.
Programmatuur en bijgewerkte
gegevens
•Afhankelijk van het gebruikte
toepassingsprogramma kan een bestand met
stilstaand beeld na het openen wel eens groter
zijn geworden.
•Wanneer u beelden, na aanpassing of
retoucheren met een programma op uw
personal computer, opnieuw naar uw
camcorder overbrengt of wanneer u de beelden
op uw camcorder zelf aanpast, kan het
beeldformaat hierdoor zodanig zijn veranderd
dat er een foutmelding volgt en u het bestand
niet meer kunt openen.
Communicatie met uw personal
computer
De communicatie tussen uw camcorder en uw
personal computer kan wel eens verhinderd zijn,
na het weer opstarten vanuit de sluimerstand,
spaarstand of wachtstand.
