Cleaning the extraction grille and the
grease filter by hand.
 Clean the extraction grille and the
grease filter with a soft nylon brush in
a mild solution of hot water and a
little washing-up liquid. Do not use
concentrated washing-up liquid.
Cleaning the extraction grille and the
grease filter in the dishwasher
 Place the extraction grille upright in
the lower basket.
 Place the grease filter with the filter
base at the top in lower basket.
Ensure the spray arm is not
obstructed.
 Use a proprietary household
dishwasher detergent.
 Select a dishwasher programme with
a wash temperature between 50 °C
and 65 °C.
Depending on the dishwasher
detergent used, cleaning the filter in a
dishwasher can cause permanent
discolouration to internal surfaces of
the filter. However, this will not affect
the functioning of the filter in any way.

 Whilst the grease filter is removed
remove any grease deposits from all
accessible areas of the housing
Doing so will prevent a fire hazard.

After cleaning the grease filter, the
operating hours counter needs to be
reset.
 Touch the  sensor for 3 seconds.
The sensor will go out.

Reactivating charcoal filter

The charcoal filter needs to be
reactivated after 120 operating hours.
The  sensor will light up.
 Reactivate the charcoal filter as
described in the operating
instructions supplied with the
recirculation box.
