MOTOSYNC with SyncML
Use MOTOSYNC with SyncML to
synchronize your contacts list, phone
calendar, and tasks with a
SyncML-compliant server.
Find it: Press the Main Menu key > É Office Tools
> MOTOSYNC > SyncML
If no SyncML profile is stored on your phone,
the phone prompts you to create a profile.
Contact your synchronization service provider
and phone network service provider to obtain
the information you need to set up a profile.
Note: If your phone cannot connect to the
server, verify that your phone's network
service provider has data service activated on
your account (additional fees may apply for
this service).

You can connect your phone and
PC using a Bluetooth wireless
connection (see page 40) or a
Motorola Original USB cable
connected to your phone and PC.
Before you use a USB cable to sync your
phone, set Modem as your USB default
connection: Press the Main Menu key
> w Settings > Connections > USB Settings > Modem.
Once your phone is connected to your PC,
select the "Sync" option from the Motorola
mobile PhoneTools software running on the
PC.
Note: To synchronize or transfer data
between your phone and PC, you must install
the Motorola mobile PhoneTools software
included with the Motorola Original data kit.
