The following schedule should be followed for normal care of your tractor and mower. Use the hour meter to deter-
mine your operating time.

Check Grass Collector for Wear
Check Safety Interlock System
Check Tractor Brakes
Check Mower Blade Stopping Time
TRACTOR MAINTENANCE ITEMS
Check Tractor/Mower for loose hardware
Check / Clean Cooling Fins
Check / Adjust PTO Clutch
Lubricate Tractor & Mower **
Lubricate Rear Axle Shafts
Clean Battery & Cables
Check Tire Pressure
Clean Deck & Check/Replace Mower Blades **
Perform Transmission Maint. (Varies by Model)
Check Mower Blade Timing (40" Mowers)
Check Arbor Drive Belt Tension (40" Mowers)
ENGINE MAINTENANCE ITEMS
Check Engine Oil Level
Check / Change Engine Air Filter
Change Engine Oil & Filter *
Inspect Spark Plug(s)
Check / Replace Fuel Filter
* Change original engine oil after initial break-in period. Refer to engine owner's manual.
** More often in hot (over 85° F: 30° C) weather or dusty operating conditions.
*** Service after the first 25 hours of operation, then every 250 hours of operation.
