Changing personal information password: change the password of personal information. Operate following
with the prompt in mobile phone.
Note：
PIN code is related with SIM card, and is the operating password of SIM card.
The password of mobile phone is the one of it self and not related with SIM card.
For example: After the function has been set up as Mobile Phone Locked (SIM card does not
start using PIN code), mobile phone is at the state of being locked. Now only inputting the
password, others cannot use when borrowing your mobile phone, but may dial up while insert
SIM card into another mobile phone.
When setting up PIN to start and not Mobile Phone Locked, only input PIN code into the
mobile phone to use it normally. Or if changing other SIM card, it may be used normally.
After changing the password, please remember the set-up password, or the owner cannot read
any important personal information either. Contact with the maintenance server if necessary.
4.4.2
Password of SIM Card
Opening PIN: Turn on PIN code of SIM card. Only inputting PIN code can start up the mobile phone, or it
can only dial up some emergency telephone such as 112. If selecting to close, start up without any PIN code.
Opening Personal Security Information: Open or close the function of personal security information.
4.4.3
PIM Protection
PIM protection is the password of personal security information. The personal security information requires
inputting the password firstly when operating important information so as to avoid others viewing the
information of owner such as Phone number book, message, my favorite, and correct password needing to
input when recording the conversation. The default password before leaving the factory is 1234.
First input the password when selecting the option. When operating with any related personal information
from the waiting state, require the mobile phone to input the personal information password. If close the
option function, do not ask to input the password when operating, and not provide the personal information
protection either.
4.5
Network Setup
When roaming at abroad, you need to select the network to connect your mobile phone with local GSM
network. Generally, you may select the automatically selective network mode (See as below), but you may
also select the manual or automatic selection to look for the effective network. If you want to connect with a
network that does not have roam protocol with your own network, there will be "The registration of network
fails" in mobile phone.
