Even without Internet broadband access, the DIR-508L can connect wirelessly to other Wi-Fi devices by creating a private
network anywhere. You can then connect a USB drive or an SD card to locally share files with these devices on your wireless
network via the SharePort feature.
Note: In public environments, it is highly recommended to password protect the private LAN on the DIR-508L.
