In the Wi-Fi Hotspot Mode, the DIR-508L connects wirelessly to the access point and then wirelessly shares your Internet
connection with other devices. You can then share files with these devices on your wireless network by using the SharePort
feature. You must have the username and password for the access point you are connecting the DIR-508L to.
Note: In public environments, it is highly recommended to password protect the shared Internet connection on the DIR-508L.
