    1-6 Before Using Your Phone 801 (FSU) User Manual 1.4 Telephone Power Supply Before the telephone can be used, the AC adapter must be connected to the telephone and the battery properly installed. The AC adapter must remain connected at all times to the telephone. In case of a power failure, the battery will supply power to the telephone.
