    If your phone is turned on, turn it off by pressing for more than 2 seconds. Always turn off the power. Remove the battery compartment cover. Slide the cover towards the base of the phone and remove by lifting. Remove the battery pack. When removing the connector, hold the cord in a position near the connector and pull lightly.

    BEFORE USING AS A PHS PHONE If you have subscribed to a PHS service and you are in a PHS service area such as outside or in various public spaces, you can place and receive calls between general phones, and other PHS portable phones. (See page 25 for switching to public mode.) Pull the antenna when communicating.
