Platform/Transmission Assembly

The platform assembly not only houses the
transmission, but is used to mount the drive
motor and mode shifter. The transmission has
planetary gears inside to assist with the agitation
and spin cycles of the washer. It is one complete
part with the exception of the two harness
mounting brackets (some models have one
harness mounting bracket) and a motor splash
guard.
